For this week's blog post, I decided to write about one my my favorite Japanese songs, けっかおーらい by こっちのけんと. This song serves as the first opening song for the anime, "My Hero Academia: Vigilantes," which is a spin-off of the anime, "My Hero Academia." This song relates to the themes of the show, which is about heroic people who aren't technically obeying the rules. This song mixes English and Japanese vocals, which adds to its very fast and exciting beat to the song. The singer, こっちのけんと is very talented, and has made some very popular songs before this one. Part of his popularity comes from the fact that he sings in both Japanese and English, so for most of his songs, he is able to provide an official English cover for his fans. Overall, this song has quickly become my "get pumped" song, and I definitely recommend a listen.
